Instructions for Authors - Invited Speakers
The conference will be held online on the Zoom platform.
Participants can access from any mobile device connected to the Internet. The use of a personal computer is however strongly recommended for presenters and invited speakers.
The necessary software is provided for free. In order to install it you just need to run the zoom_launcher.exe file that automatically downloads to your computer the first time you try to connect (JOIN A MEETING) to a web conference.
Presenters (and keynote speakers) are required to declare their presence to the organizing committee, 15 minutes before the beginning of each session according to the announced programme. You will declare your presence using the skype application which you can download for free by clicking here. The organizing committee will be in contact with you (via skype) to ensure the proper flow of presentations, while at the same time they will be at your disposal for technical support.
After installing the application, please add to your contacts the skype account of the Committee for Geomorphology and Environment, no later than December 14, 2020.

Upon entry, please confirm that your microphone and camera are deactivated. Activate them only during your presentation by clicking on the corresponding icons at the bottom of the window as indicated by red arrows in the image below.
You can present your slides to the audience via screen sharing. To start sharing your screen, click on the green icon indicated by the red arrow in the image below.
In the new window that will appear, select the presentation software, e.g. Powerpoint (which you should already have opened) and then click the share button at the bottom right part of the window, as indicated by the corresponding red arrows in the image below.
To stop sharing your screen, tap stop share in the menu that appears at the top of your screen as indicated below.
